KIM GUIDONE
kimberly@stonerosepictures.com

Kim Guidone’s career began as a Story Editor for Stanley Jaffe, former COO of Paramount and Academy Award-winning producer at his company JAFFILMS in New York City. Primarily optioning from books, Kim was extremely well established in the publishing community, discovering stand-out material for film adaptation in their first-look deal at Sony Pictures. This would be a trademark in Kim’s development and production career. She has a talent for identifying and developing literary works that strike a universal chord with audiences, as seen in her early identification and championing of such authors as Suzanne Collins, John Green and Maggie Stiefvater... and now Simone Elkeles!

At present, Kim is working on an animation series with Disney Jr., and carries a slate of her own projects for both film, television and theater as an independent producer. Prior to that, she was Head of Development and Production for an independently financed production company; EAST OF DOHENY. While there, she worked on many adaptations with A-list talent. She also has served as a Creative Executive for MTV Networks and VH1.
